Counsellor
Disha Chandan is a counsellor at Movement By Design, supporting clients in addressing the psychological and emotional factors that influence health, recovery, and overall well-being.
At MBD, she plays a key role in working with clients who experience emotional eating and behaviour-driven lifestyle challenges, helping them build awareness, develop healthier coping strategies, and improve long-term adherence to nutrition and wellness plans.
Her areas of work include child psychology and cognitive development, as well as supporting individuals across concerns such as emotional well-being, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, parenting guidance, and addictions. She also works on developing emotional intelligence (EQ) across age groups, including athletes, helping improve self-awareness, emotional regulation, and consistency in behaviour.
Disha collaborates closely with the clinical, nutrition, and rehab teams to ensure that mental and emotional health are aligned with physical and lifestyle goals. Her approach is empathetic yet structured, guiding clients toward practical and sustainable change.
At Movement By Design, her role ensures that wellness interventions are not just prescribed, but understood, accepted, and consistently followed.
